Fuel Cell Creative PlayWriting and Acting
Fuel Cell Creative PlayWriting and Acting
When: Wednesday, October 27-28, 2008 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Description: National Research Council Institute for Fuel Cell Innovation researcher Lars Rose and playwright Michael Christie have created a setup of interactive hands-on fuel cell / alternative energy / sustainability workshops that will be delivered several times this year at the UBC Michael Smith labs, after some pilot runs earlier this year (see http://www.publicaffairs.ubc.ca/ubcreports/2008/08sep04/creativity.html for more info).
After that, the high school students write, and act out a play on sustainability and alternative energies in the AMBL lecture halls.
A fun science, engineering, technology and math day at the Michael Smith labs, with certified learning retention for the various high schools that signed up. Teacher applications have already far exceeded the workshops offered.
