This is where we will find info on reaching out to various groups in the community.
This year (2007) we managed to push a Vancouver downtown Eastside school from having no participants at the regional science fair level to having 5 medals and one national winner. Congratulations to everybody who made this measurable impact possible.
E-fest
Community EventAs part of National Engineering and Geoscience Month, the Vancouver Public Library hosts engineering and geosciences related companies, organizations, and student teams who showcase their work during a one day trade show.
We are looking for enthusiastic enginners who can showcase their research at our LTS booth!

Brain Awareness
Brain Awareness is an initiative spearheaded by the Society for Neuroscience and is a growing international event which seeks to raise public awareness of neuroscience research and inspire the next generation of scientists.
In partnership with the UBC Brain Research Centre, each year, LTS volunteers conduct neuroscience-themed classroom visits throughout the spring.
