We have to complete our term 1 activity report for the LTS national office by December 11, so we would really appreciate it if everyone who has completed activities so far could get their reports in ASAP!਀ ______________________________________________________਀ Wanted: Volunteer Coordinator਀ We are actively searching for a new Volunteer Coordinator. Duties are centred around managing the volunteer base (125+), volunteer recruitment, organization and running of training sessions (with help from the other two coordinators), and volunteer recognition (volunteer events, prize distribution, etc etc... the fun stuff).਀ Please let us know if you are interested in filling this spot as soon as possible, but no later than Dec. 15th. This will allow us to develop our rural outreach program, initiate an Invited Speaker Program, an Aboriginal Outreach Program, a Professional Development component for Graduate Students, an Alumni Network, and get a bunch of new supplies for classroom visits. ਀ If there is anything you would like to see us provide for our volunteers, please just let us know.
